Darth Vader and Son is a wonderful little gem which combines Star Wars with father and son time. This hardcover graphic novel features artwork by Jeffrey Brown, best know for his books Cat Getting Out of a Bag and Cats Are Weird.
This review is going to be a bit shorter than the others as I don’t want to make it longer than the text in the book itself. The best part of the book is the visuals created in Brown’s simple, friendly style. He perfectly captures the difficulties and learning experiences which can pop up between father and son, even if they don’t have the Force or wield lightsabers.
I highly recommend this quick read to all fans, fathers, and sons. It’s a quirky little book that everyone will enjoy. I’m looking forward to the “sequel” coming out in April: Vader’s Little Princess. Obi-wan was wise to hide her from me…
